Our experience with Barefeet

Like A Cuban had the privilege of collaborating with the team behind Bare Feet with Mickela Mallozzi during the filming of their episode in Havana. The series explores destinations around the world through dance, music, and cultural traditions, offering viewers an authentic look at local communities and artistic heritage.

Our team worked closely with the production crew to help facilitate their experience in Cuba, providing local coordination, cultural insight, and connections with artists, dancers, and community members. Through our network and deep knowledge of the island, we helped the Bare Feet team access authentic cultural spaces and stories that reflect the spirit of contemporary Cuban life. The episode highlights the vibrant rhythms of Havana—from Afro-Cuban spiritual traditions and street salsa to the diverse cultural influences that shape the city today.
